Türkiye's aerobatic display team, the Turkish Stars, will perform a demonstration flight over Ankara and the Presidential Complex on Monday as part of the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, the Ankara Governor's Office announced.
The final rehearsal flight is scheduled for Sunday, with the official demonstration set for Monday, July 6. Both flights will take place between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m.
The governor's office issued its announcement to inform residents and prevent alarm over aircraft noise and increased air traffic.
"The demonstration flight planned within the scope of the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit will be carried out on July 5, 2026, Sunday, as a final rehearsal flight and on July 6, 2026, Monday, as the demonstration flight, between 15:15 and 15:30, over Ankara and the Presidential Complex," the governor's office statement said.
The Turkish Stars are the aerobatic display team of the Turkish Air Force.
The flights are described as planned activities in connection with the summit, according to the governor's office.
