Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 39 suspects were arrested in operations against the Daesh terrorist organization conducted across 18 provinces.
The operations were coordinated by public prosecutors' offices and the Gendarmerie General Command's Counterterrorism Department, Yerlikaya said in a social media post.
The raids were conducted by provincial gendarmerie commands in Adana, Bursa, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Eskişehir, Hatay, Istanbul, Kahramanmaras, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kilis, Kocaeli, Osmaniye, Sakarya, Samsun, Sanliurfa, and Tekirdag.
Yerlikaya stated that the detained suspects were found to be members of Daesh, provided financing to so-called aid organizations affiliated with the terrorist group, and conducted terrorist propaganda through social media accounts.
"In operations conducted by our gendarmerie against the Daesh terrorist organization in 18 provinces over the past two weeks, we captured 39 suspected terrorist organization members," Yerlikaya said.
He added that numerous organizational documents and digital materials were seized during the operations.
The minister congratulated the governors, coordinating public prosecutors' offices, provincial gendarmerie commanders, and gendarmerie personnel who carried out the operations.
"Unity, solidarity, and cooperation against terrorism is our greatest strength. We continue our operations without interruption to ensure the peace and security of our people," Yerlikaya stated.
In a related operation in Istanbul, three of eight suspects accused of providing financing to Daesh were arrested.
The Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office Counterterrorism Investigation Bureau identified eight suspects who allegedly provided financial support to Daesh.

Police arrested three suspects in the operation. Arrest warrants were issued for five additional suspects, including two abroad and three fugitives.
