Türkiye extradites 14 fugitives, including high-profile organized crime figures

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced Tuesday that 12 criminals wanted with red notices and two wanted at the national level were extradited to Türkiye from Georgia, Albania, Germany, Senegal, and Greece.
In a statement on his X account, Yerlikaya said authorities meticulously tracked the suspects abroad through joint operational cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the relevant countries.
High-profile fugitives extradited under red notices
Among the criminals captured internationally with red notices in Georgia were:
- T.G., a member of the A.G. organized crime group, wanted for establishing a criminal organization, robbery, usury, aggravated robbery, threats, and bodily harm.
- M.A., wanted for aggravated sexual abuse of a child and deprivation of liberty.
- M.A.D., wanted for robbery.
- C.Y., wanted for robbery, deprivation of liberty by force, threat, or deceit, and bodily harm.
- S.S., wanted for intentional homicide.
- M.D., wanted for sexual abuse and sexual assault of a child.
- K.D., wanted for attempted intentional homicide.
- E.C., wanted for membership in a criminal organization and fraud.
Other high-profile returns include:
- K.K., captured in Albania, wanted for fraud using information systems, banks, or credit institutions.
- O.G., captured in Senegal, wanted for sexual abuse of a child.
- G.C., extradited from Germany, wanted for narcotics possession and trafficking, theft, and unauthorized use of bank or credit cards.
- M.C.U., also extradited from Germany, wanted for deprivation of liberty and robbery by force, threat, or deceit.
Among the criminals wanted at the national level, T.Y., wanted for purchase, transport, and possession of firearms or ammunition, was captured in Albania, and M.U., wanted for human smuggling, was captured in Greece.
'They will not escape Turkish Police'
Yerlikaya thanked the Ministry of Justice and all ministry staff involved in the operations.
“I congratulate our General Directorate of Security Interpol-Europol Department, our Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) and Narcotics Crime Departments, our Cyber Crimes, Public Order, and Human Smuggling Departments, and the Istanbul and Artvin Provincial Police Directorates. No matter what notice they are wanted with or which country they flee to, they will not escape the Turkish Police,” he said.
