Turkish defense firm ASER Technology has completed deliveries of its domestically developed RF jammers to support the United Nations’ armored vehicles operating in Africa, after winning an international procurement tender against major global defense companies.
ASER Technology, active in satellite communications, electronic warfare, and radar systems, secured the U.N. tender for RF jammer procurement to protect armored vehicles in African missions.
The company delivered the systems following successful testing and training phases.
General Manager Ertan Murat told Anadolu Agency (AA) that ASER specializes in counter-IED and counter-drone electronic warfare systems, producing advanced tactical-class jammers designed to address modern threats.
Murat said the company developed a new generation of jamming technology informed by two decades of experience supporting Türkiye’s security forces.
“With our new technology, we conduct effective jamming across the entire spectrum, covering 4.5G and 5G systems, drone and GNSS frequency bands, at significantly longer ranges,” he said.
He added that ASER aims to provide these advanced solutions to Turkish law enforcement as well, noting that meeting the Presidency of Defense Industries’ requirements strengthens their position.
“We are proud to have entered the U.N. inventory. We thank all our employees, project partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and our early partner EHSIM Elektronik,” Murat said.
Following final tests and training, the RF jammers were officially integrated into the inventory of a friendly and allied country’s armed forces and deployed under the United Nations' Africa operations.
