Türkiye's ruling party, the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Spokesperson Omer Celik said Türkiye "never wishes for any chaos to emerge in our neighbor Iran," while warning that external intervention—particularly at Israel's instigation—would lead to "worse results" and "bigger crises."
"We never wish for any chaos to emerge in our neighbor Iran. Of course, we do not ignore that there are some problems in Iranian society and state life," Celik said following the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"But the resolution of these problems, as Iranian President Pezeshkian has also stated, should occur through Iran's own internal dynamics, through the national will of the Iranian state," he added.
The ruling party spokesperson warned that external interventions would produce negative results, saying, "We see and foresee that interventions from outside will produce worse results, and especially interventions that emerge within the framework of Israel's provocation and Israel's certain goals will lead to bigger crises and bigger troubles."
"Therefore, we emphasize the importance of stability in Iran so that more crises do not emerge and the region is not dragged into more troubles," he added.
Celik said the issue needs to be resolved through negotiation, dialogue, and more communication.
"But when we look at the statements of Israeli officials, especially regarding Iran, we see that they are trying to adopt a savage attitude that will create bigger troubles in the entire region, and this is something that must absolutely be rejected," he said.
Celik also said that Türkiye is closely following developments in Iran and maintaining preparations at the highest level.
"Very dynamic events are happening in our region. In the face of all these events, we are keeping our preparations at the highest level regarding all our neighbors as well as events in our nearby region," he noted.
On Syria, the AK Party spokesman stated that the SDF's stance in Aleppo was an attempt to sabotage the Terror-Free Türkiye process.
"The stance the SDF displayed in Syria regarding Terror-Free Türkiye was essentially an attempt to sabotage the Terror-Free Türkiye goal and the integrated, intertwined terror-free region goal. But this sabotage has failed," he said.
He emphasized that Syrian Kurds are "an equal and inseparable part of Syria."
"Reducing Syrian Kurds to a terrorist organization is the greatest injustice and the greatest slander against Syrian Kurds. Syrian Kurds are an equal and inseparable part of Syria, and our greatest wish is for them to have a strong place in Syria's future, both in social life and state life," Celik added.
Celik rejected claims that Kurds, Alawites, or Druze are being targeted in Syria, noting that, "Whoever looks badly at any Kurd, Druze, Alawite, Nusayri, Shia brother of ours in Syria—Türkiye stands against them first. We are in agreement with the Syrian government on this issue."
"Terrorist organizations use ethnic groups and sectarian groups as shields. What does the SDF using women and children as shields have to do with our Kurdish brothers?" he added.
Celik spoke about Israel's recognition of Somaliland and condemned the action, adding, "Israel's occupying, expansionist, and genocidal policy that creates chaos has unfortunately manifested itself most recently in the recognition of Somaliland."
"We see that the recognition of Somaliland, which is an inseparable part of Somalia, is a hint and precursor to certain other policies," he added.
"When we read this together with developments in Yemen, in terms of maritime trade and control of that region, we see that darker politics are being pursued," Celik concluded.
