4.3 magnitude quake strikes Ionian Sea, off the coast of Greece near Athens

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Ionian Sea at 7.50 p.m local time (GMT+3) on Tuesday, Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reported.

The quake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers near Greece’s capital, Athens, and was felt along Türkiye’s Aegean coast.
