Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned that any U.S. military intervention would result in “irreparable damage” for the United States.
In a televised address, Khamenei praised what he described as the Iranian people’s “resolute, courageous, and aware” response to what he called Israel’s “foolish and malevolent attacks.”
He stressed that Iran would firmly resist not only an imposed war but also any form of imposed peace, saying, “This nation will never surrender to coercion.”
Referring to threats made by former U.S. President Donald Trump, Khamenei added: “Those who truly understand Iran—its people and its history—know never to speak to this nation in the language of threats. The Iranian people do not yield. The Americans must understand that any military action would inflict irreversible harm on the United States.”
