What Iran says

• Baqaei added, "The U.S. government's decision to prevent Iran from legally trading with its economic partners and apply pressure on the Iranian people is an unlawful and unjustifiable act."

The U.S. government has added several entities, individuals, and vessels to the sanctions list, including those connected to the shipping of Iranian oil to China, India, and the UAE.
