All of Iran’s enriched nuclear materials have been relocated to secure locations, a senior commander of IRGC said Thursday, amid continued Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites.

"Israel hit Natanz, Isfahan, Khandab, and Arak, but they were already evacuated. All the materials have been moved to a safe place," Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Council and IRGC commander, told the Iranian news agency SNN.

'Gradually escalating the war'

Rezaei warned against a cease-fire, claiming it would give Israel an opportunity to recover.

"We must not allow the enemy, which is currently in a weak position, to revive itself with a cease-fire," he said, adding that Iran had used “less than 30%” of its military capabilities and was “gradually escalating the war.”

He had previously stated on June 15: “We may reach a point where we take major actions that will destabilize the entire region,” urging U.S. and European leaders to act swiftly. “The wise people in the U.S. and Europe must act quickly to pull their countries out of this war, otherwise we cannot stand by and watch their involvement without responding,” he said.

Escalation cancels diplomacy

Israel began launching coordinated airstrikes on Iran on June 13, targeting nuclear facilities, military installations, and senior personnel, including scientists. Tehran responded with ballistic missile attacks.

Nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, which had resumed in April through Oman, were set to continue on June 15. However, Iran canceled the talks following the Israeli assault.

The U.S. has demanded Iran halt uranium enrichment, citing concerns over nuclear weapon development. Iran insists its nuclear program is solely for peaceful purposes.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities have reported at least 25 people killed and hundreds injured in Iranian missile attacks. Iranian media reported that at least 639 people have been killed and over 1,300 wounded in the Israeli strikes.
