Iran’s Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi said U.S.-Israeli attacks have damaged water and electricity supply facilities in several parts of the country.

Speaking to the state broadcaster IRIB, Aliabadi said the strikes affected infrastructure linked to water and electricity services.

He said repair work is ongoing to ensure that service delivery continues without interruption.

Aliabadi also called on the public to be careful with their water and electricity consumption.

Video shows destruction in Tehran

A video published by Iran’s state channel Press TV showed rows of buildings in Tehran destroyed following the latest joint U.S.-Israeli air strikes on the capital.

The footage showed people walking through debris near hollowed-out buildings that Press TV described as residential structures.

One frame showed a parked vehicle destroyed and covered with dust, while another angle showed a backhoe clearing a mound of shattered concrete and debris from the site.
