Israeli internal security agency thwarts Iranian-assisted assassination attempts
Israel’s internal security service, Shin Bet, claimed that it has prevented many assassination attempts organized by Iran.
In a written statement, Shin Bet alleged that “Iran has attempted a series of assassination plots within Israel.”
The agency asserted that “some of these attempts have been thwarted recently,” although no further details were provided.
The statement noted, “In recent weeks, Shin Bet has detected a significant increase in Iran’s efforts to advance assassination attacks against targets in Israel.”
