Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Saturday that on Eid al-Fitr, Iran has no intention of conflict with Islamic countries or neighboring states.
Data compiled by Türkiye's state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) showed Iran has launched at least 4,382 missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases and critical facilities in seven Arab countries since Feb. 28, with strikes continuing through the first day of the holiday.
In a post on X addressed to Islamic countries and neighboring states, Pezeshkian wrote in Arabic, "To the Islamic countries and our dear neighbors, you are our brothers, and we have no intention of any conflict with you. The only beneficiary of our disputes is the Zionist entity."
He asked Allah to grant strength and unity on Eid al-Fitr and expressed hope for guidance in acting on the teachings of the Prophet.
Despite Pezeshkian's message, Iran has carried out at least 4,382 missile and drone strikes on U.S. bases and critical points across seven Arab countries in the Gulf region since Feb. 28, according to data compiled by AA from official defense ministry statements.
The attacks continued through Eid al-Fitr.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been the most heavily targeted country.
According to the UAE Defense Ministry, air defense systems have intercepted 338 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,740 drones since Iran's "open attacks" began, a total of 2,093 projectiles.
Kuwait has faced at least 261 missiles and 585 drone attacks, according to data from the Kuwaiti army, National Guard, Government Communications Center, and official news agency KUNA.
Bahrain's Defense Forces said 143 missiles and 242 drones have been intercepted and destroyed since Feb. 28. Qatar's Defense Ministry said the country has been targeted by 206 missiles and 87 drones.
Saudi Arabia has faced 38 missiles and 507 drone attacks, according to the Saudi Defense Ministry.
Jordan has been targeted by a combined total of 204 missiles and drones, according to the Jordanian armed forces.
Oman has been the least targeted, with 16 drones launched from Iran against its territory, according to the official news agency ONA.
