Türkiye sends 333 truckloads of aid to Gaza since late July

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Türkiye (AFAD) stated on Sunday that 333 truckloads of aid materials have been delivered to Gaza since July 27, with additional shipments planned for Monday, including 17 trucks of food and three trucks of blankets.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, known as AFAD, said Türkiye has continued humanitarian aid activities in the region with contributions from all relevant institutions, organizations and civil society organizations under AFAD coordination, according to a statement on the agency's social media account.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, a total of 101,725 tons of humanitarian aid materials have been sent to Gaza via 16 ships and 14 aircraft.

Aid accelerates following Gaza ceasefire

"In this context, 333 truckloads of materials have been delivered to Gaza since July 27, 2025. Humanitarian aid activities accelerated after the ceasefire achieved in Gaza on Oct. 8, 2025," the statement said.

Within this framework, 100 truckloads of materials were delivered from El Arish, Egypt, to the Kerem Shalom border crossing in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, including humanitarian aid sent with contributions from the Turkish Red Crescent and other civil society organizations in the country, under AFAD coordination.

"On Oct. 13, 2025, 17 trucks of food aid, three trucks of blanket aid and tents belonging to our country are planned to cross," the statement said.

AFAD said it continues to work in coordination with all institutions, organizations and civil society organizations to meet humanitarian needs in the region.
