TRENDS Research & Advisory’s Türkiye Virtual Office, in partnership with Türkiye Today, hosted the 8th TRENDS Strategic Dialogue titled “The War in the Middle East: How Türkiye Sees the Crisis.”
The online event gathered prominent academics and policy experts to analyze Ankara’s diplomatic and geopolitical stance amid escalating regional tensions.
The panel featured Ilker Sezer, managing editor of Türkiye Today, alongside Dr. Gokhan Cinkara (Necmettin Erbakan University), Dr. Barin Kayaoglu (Social Sciences University of Ankara), and Dr. Serhat Suha Cubukcuoglu, director of the TRENDS Türkiye Virtual Office.
The discussion, moderated by TRENDS researcher Shamma Ahmed Al Qutbah, focused on the multifaceted nature of the crisis and its impact on Turkish foreign policy.
Opening remarks were delivered by Rashed Hasan Al Hosani, with Latifa Ibrahim Al Jneib providing the closing summary.
The dialogue emphasized the critical role of joint research and media collaboration in providing nuanced perspectives on Middle Eastern security.
