The Türkiye Football Federation (TFF) has announced referee appointments for the 34th and final week of the Trendyol Super Lig, with two female referees assigned to matches in the closing round.
Asen Albayrak will officiate the Caykur Rizespor–Besiktas match on Friday, May 15, becoming the first female referee to manage a match involving one of Türkiye's four major clubs in the Super Lig. Melek Dakan is set to referee the Kayserispor–Konyaspor fixture on Sunday, May 17.
Born on May 5, 1997, in Tasova, Amasya, Albayrak has been an active referee since 2017. She has officiated matches across multiple tiers of Turkish football, including the TFF 2nd League, 1st League and the Türkiye Cup. In 2025, she received her FIFA badge, qualifying her to officiate at the international level.
Born on Aug. 6, 1995, Dakan holds a FIFA badge and is registered with the Ankara region referees. She holds a degree in journalism from Gazi University and also studied at Ankara University's Faculty of Sport Sciences. Dakan has officiated in international competitions, including the UEFA Women's Under-17 European Championship qualifiers.
