Turkish basketball giant Anadolu Efes has officially signed Nick Weiler-Babb from Bayern Munich, finalizing a key move for the backcourt in the 2024–25 season.
The Turkish powerhouse confirmed the deal on Thursday, announcing a 2+1 year contract with the American-German guard.
Weiler-Babb, 29, spent five seasons with Bayern Munich between 2020 and 2025, earning widespread recognition for his defensive excellence.
He was named EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year for the 2023–24 season after a standout campaign.
Last season, Weiler-Babb appeared in 34 EuroLeague games, averaging 8.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game—numbers that underlined his all-around impact.
This summer, Anadolu Efes appointed Igor Kokoskov as head coach, replacing Luca Banchi, and continues to reshape its roster in hopes of returning to EuroLeague contention.
