Ndidi, 28, joined Leicester City in January 2017 from Belgian club Genk for a fee of €17,6 million ($20,56 million).
Over eight and a half seasons, he made 303 appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing 22 assists. Known for his energy, quick feet, and high pass accuracy, Ndidi is expected to bring experience and quality to Besiktas’ midfield.
Besiktas reportedly agreed to pay Leicester City €9,5 million for Ndidi’s transfer. The player held a private meeting with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and will soon sign a 3+1 year contract after passing his medical tests.
Real Betis was also interested in Ndidi but failed to agree on a transfer fee with Leicester City, clearing the way for Besiktas.
