Besiktas has begun formal negotiations to sign Zeki Amdouni, a lifelong supporter of the club. His current club, English side Burnley, has set an initial asking price of 20 million pounds ($26.95 million).

However, Besiktas is working to bring that figure down.

The Black and Whites are targeting the 24-year-old forward, who spent last season on loan at Benfica.

Despite the exorbitant fee, the Besiktas board remains determined. Club President Serdal Adali reportedly plans to fund the transfer through sponsorship.

Amdouni, whose father is Turkish and mother Tunisian, has supported Besiktas since childhood and is said to be interested in the move.

Highly versatile attacker

Amdouni can play as a center forward, right winger, or attacking midfielder. He appeared in 43 matches for Benfica last season, scoring 9 goals and providing 1 assist.

The Swiss international stands 1.85 meters tall and is proficient with both feet. Known for his technical skills, agility, and goal sense, Amdouni is particularly effective in tight spaces—traits that match Besiktas’s need for a dynamic forward.

Besiktas fans have already launched a social media campaign, calling on Amdouni to “Come to Besiktas,” echoing the club’s famous transfer slogan.
