Besiktas’ promising young striker Semih Kilicsoy is preparing for a potential loan move abroad, with club officials identifying two leagues that could positively influence the 19-year-old's development.

After coming through the Besiktas youth academy, Kilicsoy featured in 46 official matches last season, registering four goals and six assists.

Despite gaining experience, the club's management believes the forward needs regular playing time in a system conducive to his growth.

According to Turkish media, Kilicsoy recently met with club president Serdal Adali following a season where he failed to meet expectations. The meeting was described as supportive, with Adali reassuring the young striker that he remains a vital part of Besiktas’s long-term plans and encouraging him to refocus.

Following that conversation, Kilicsoy is said to be open to a loan move to Europe. The Dutch Eredivisie and Portuguese Primeira Liga have been identified as ideal destinations for the player's development. Besiktas is expected to respond favorably to loan offers from clubs in those two leagues.

Premier League interest emerges

Meanwhile, Premier League side Newcastle United has reportedly been monitoring Kilicsoy’s progress.

However, any permanent transfer appears unlikely this summer due to Besiktas’s valuation of the player, which is said to be between €15 and €20 million.

As of now, a loan move remains the most probable scenario, with Kilicsoy seeking consistent minutes to further his career trajectory while Besiktas looks to protect the long-term value of one of its most promising assets.
