Besiktas forward Hyeon-gyu Oh has been included in South Korea’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, giving the Istanbul club representation at football’s biggest international tournament.
The South Korean Football Federation announced that the 25-year-old striker will be part of the national team squad for the tournament.
Oh has scored 6 goals in 26 appearances for South Korea, underlining his role as one of the attacking options in the squad.
South Korea will compete in Group A, where it will face Czechia, Mexico and South Africa.
The squad also includes former Fenerbahce defender Kim Minjae, adding another familiar name for Turkish football followers.
