Bezzecchi wins Indonesian Grand Prix as Razgatlioglu retires

Aprilia Racing’s Marco Bezzecchi won the Indonesian Grand Prix, the 17th round of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship, held at the 4.3-kilometer (2.7-mile) Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

The Italian rider completed the race in 40 minutes, 46.582 seconds, taking his fifth victory of the season.

The circuit is located on Lombok Island in Indonesia, east of Bali.

Trackhouse’s Raul Fernandez of Spain finished second, 4.260 seconds behind the winner. Aprilia Racing’s Jorge Martin of Spain placed third, 6.890 seconds off the pace.

Razgatlioglu retires with mechanical problem

Prima Pramac Yamaha’s Toprak Razgatlioglu, a Red Bull athlete, did not complete the race because of a mechanical problem. He is 21st in the riders’ standings with 18 points.

Martin leads championship by two points

Aprilia Racing’s Martin leads the championship with 355 points, two points ahead of Ducati Lenovo’s Marc Marquez. Bezzecchi is third with 309 points, 46 behind the leader.
