Galatasaray is tracking Kingsley Coman as the French winger weighs a return to European football following Al Nassr’s Saudi Pro League triumph, according to Turkish media reports.
The 29-year-old attacker reportedly sees his stint in Saudi Arabia as largely complete after lifting the league title and is now looking toward a fresh challenge at the UEFA Champions League level.
That ambition has brought Galatasaray into the frame, with the Turkish champions closely monitoring Coman’s situation ahead of the summer transfer window. Club officials could move quickly if the player signals openness to joining the Super Lig, reports suggest.
One of the standout factors behind Galatasaray’s interest is Leroy Sane, who recently joined the Istanbul side after leaving Bayern Munich. Coman and Sane spent several seasons together in Germany and appeared in 124 matches alongside each other for Bayern.
A potential reunion between the two former teammates is seen as one of Galatasaray’s strongest cards in a possible move for the French international.
Coman also posted strong numbers this season, finishing with 16 goals and 12 assists in 41 matches, while his market value currently stands at €22 million ($25.5 million), according to Transfermarkt.
The winger remains under contract with Al Nassr until June 2028, and his financial package could complicate any transfer talks. Coman reportedly earns a base salary of €20 million per year in Saudi Arabia, with bonuses pushing the figure as high as €25 million annually.
Still, Galatasaray continues to follow developments closely as the club assesses whether a deal could become realistic in the coming months, Sporx reported.
Finishing the Turkish Super Lig at the top for a fourth consecutive season, the Yellow-Red side has stepped up efforts to build a squad capable of making a deeper run in the UEFA Champions League.
Earlier reports had also linked Galatasaray with several high-profile names, including Portuguese star Bernardo Silva, who recently left Manchester City as a free agent, and AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, who has also reportedly emerged as a target for archrivals Fenerbahce.
