Eczacibasi Dynavit, one of the leading clubs in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, has officially announced the signing of Turkish national team star Ebrar Karakurt.
The Istanbul-based club welcomed Karakurt through a statement on social media, emphasizing her return to Türkiye after four seasons abroad. The 24-year-old outside hitter previously played in Italy and Russia, representing top-tier clubs while also achieving notable success with the Turkish national team.
Karakurt expressed satisfaction at returning to her home country and joining a team that, according to the club, presented her with a compelling long-term project. Eczacibasi reportedly made a strong impression on the player from the outset, influencing her decision to return to Türkiye.
The club stated that Karakurt’s competitive nature, international experience, and dynamic presence are expected to make a significant impact both on and off the court. Ebrar Karakurt, born in 2000, is an established member of the Turkish national volleyball team. Standing at 1.95 meters, she plays as an outside hitter. She began her professional career at Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor and later played for VakifBank, Bahcelievler Volleyball Club, Turk Hava Yollari, Igor Gorgonzola Novara (Italy), and Lokomotiv Kaliningrad (Russia).
