Turkish volleyball powerhouse Eczacibasi Dynavit has qualified for the CEV Women’s Champions League Final Four after advancing past Poland’s KS DevelopRes Rzeszow in the quarterfinals.
Despite a 3-2 away loss in the second leg, the Istanbul-based team progressed based on their aggregate advantage.
The match took place at the RCWS Podpromie Hall in Rzeszow. Eczacibasi entered the game needing only two sets to guarantee their progression to the next round, following a 3-1 victory in the first leg.
Eczacibasi Dynavit started the match with high intensity and quickly took control of the opening sets. The Turkish side won both with identical scores:
By securing these two sets, the team mathematically guaranteed its place in the Final Four before the match concluded.
After Eczacibasi confirmed qualification, KS DevelopRes Rzeszow responded by increasing pressure and taking control of the match.
They won the third set 25-23 and the fourth set 25-15 to force a deciding set.
Rzeszow maintained its momentum in the final set and won 15-12, closing the match with a 3-2 victory. The result did not affect the overall outcome of the quarterfinal tie.
