Veteran coach Fatih Terim, a legendary figure at Galatasaray, has decided to continue his managerial career following short stints in Greece and Saudi Arabia, according to Türkiye Daily.
After departing from Galatasaray in January 2022, the 71-year-old took over Panathinaikos in December 2023, and later managed Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia for half a season starting in December 2024. With his contract at Al-Shabab concluded at the end of the season, Terim has now made his next move.
Reports indicate that Terim will take charge of a club in the United Arab Emirates for the upcoming season. He is reportedly traveling to Dubai for final negotiations. The identity of the club has not yet been disclosed.
During his time at Al-Shabab, Terim led the team in 23 matches, registering 12 wins, 4 draws, and 7 losses, with an average of 1.74 points per match.
Terim, who famously won the UEFA Cup with Galatasaray and has enjoyed multiple domestic titles in Türkiye, is now preparing for a new chapter in the Middle East as he extends his managerial journey.
