Fenerbahce has submitted a formal offer for Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat but is carefully assessing alternatives before finalizing its midfield reinforcements, Turkish media reported Thursday.

According to sources close to the club, Fenerbahce is waiting for Amrabat's final decision before launching a move for Ghana international Thomas Partey, who recently parted ways with Arsenal.

Partey, 32, is reportedly demanding a three-year contract and a salary of €6 million ($7.05 million) per season. While Fenerbahce remains interested, its management is mindful of balancing financial considerations and squad depth.

Meanwhile, Turkish media has linked Besiktas to Partey as well, with reports suggesting the Istanbul rivals are also monitoring the midfielder's status closely. Besiktas have confirmed no official offer, but Partey's name has been increasingly mentioned in club circles.

Amrabat, who spent last season on loan at Manchester United from Fiorentina, has also attracted attention from Italian and Gulf clubs. His decision is seen as pivotal for Fenerbahce's next steps in the transfer market.

The Partey pursuit comes amid Fenerbahce's continued effort to build a powerful squad under Jose Mourinho, who has emphasized experience and versatility in midfield.
