Fenerbahce’s victory marks their second straight SuperCup win, adding to their EuroLeague championship from last season.
FIBA Europe General Secretary Kamil Novak presented the trophy to Fenerbahce’s captains Alperi Onar and Emma Meesseman, who celebrated the victory with their teammates.
Coach Valerie Garnier praised the team's preparation for the game and said that this win reflects the effort they put in over the past month. She also acknowledged Besiktas’ strong performance but emphasized Fenerbahce’s determination to overcome early difficulties.
Besiktas, despite a strong first half, couldn’t match Fenerbahce’s intensity in the second half. Khaalia Hillsman led Besiktas in scoring, but it wasn’t enough to stop Fenerbahce’s determined offense.
