Fenerbahce has accelerated its search for a new striker following the departure of Edin Dzeko, adding Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic to its transfer list.
The Turkish club’s president, Ali Koc, reportedly contacted former sporting director Damien Comolli, who now serves as Juventus’ Football General Director, to facilitate negotiations for the 24-year-old Serbian forward.
Juventus has placed Vlahovic on the transfer market with an asking price of €35 million ($40 million). Fenerbahce aims to negotiate the fee to complete the transfer.
Vlahovic scored 18 goals in 38 appearances for Juventus during the previous season.
