As the Super Lig resumes after the international break, one of the most striking headlines of the transfer window has emerged in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce have officially confirmed that winger Cengiz Under has joined arch-rivals Besiktas on loan until the end of the 2025-26 season, with an option to buy.

Fenerbahce announced the move through an official club statement:
“Our club has reached an agreement with Besiktas regarding the loan transfer of our player Cengiz Under until the end of the season, with a purchase option included. We wish our player a season free from injuries.”
Besiktas also issued a formal statement to confirm the deal:
“Professional football player Cengiz Under has joined Besiktas JK temporarily until the end of the 2025-26 season, with an option to buy. We wish him success in our historic jersey.”
The Black-and-White Club also shared the slogan “Welcome to our Besiktas” across their official platforms, celebrating the arrival of the Türkiye international.
According to reports, the loan deal does not include a mandatory purchase clause. The buy option is set at €6 million ($7,06 million), and the player’s wages will be shared between the two clubs.
