Turkish gymnast Ferhat Arican secured his second gold medal at the Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Hungary on Sunday, scoring 14.250 points on the parallel bars.
The competition concluded in Szombathely, Hungary, with Türkiye finishing the tournament with three gold medals total, according to an announcement from the Turkish Gymnastics Federation.
Arican's parallel bars victory on the final day added to his earlier triumph on the pommel horse. The Turkish team's third gold medal came from Mehmet Ayberk Kosak, who won the rings event.
Other Turkish competitors also placed well in the final standings. Altan Dogan finished fifth on parallel bars with a score of 13.600 points, while Mert Efe Kilicer placed sixth on the horizontal bar with 13.700 points.
Beyond the medal victories, two Turkish gymnasts received special recognition for their performances. Arıcan earned a special award for his parallel bars routine, while Kilicer received similar honors for his horizontal bar performance.
The World Challenge Cup series serves as an important competitive platform for gymnasts to gain international experience and qualify for major championships. Türkiye's strong showing in Hungary demonstrates the country's growing presence in international gymnastics competition.
