Final day thrills await as 2026 Winter Olympics conclude

The 2026 Winter Olympics are set to conclude spectacularly as the Games’ final day promises a flurry of high-stakes action.
From heart-stopping speed in the bobsled to tactical battles on the curling ice, endurance tests in cross-country skiing and the drama of men’s ice hockey, the last four medal events will crown the remaining champions of Milano–Cortina 2026.
The Games will draw to a close with the Closing Ceremony at the iconic Verona Arena at 10:30 p.m. local time (TSI), where the Olympic flame will be extinguished and the torch passed to the host nation of the 2030 Winter Olympics.

- 12 p.m. — Women’s Cross-Country Skiing 50 km Mass Start (Classic)
The longest race in Olympic cross-country skiing, the 50 km mass start at Tesero Ski Stadium challenges athletes’ endurance and strategy in a nearly two-hour contest. - 1:05 p.m. — Women’s Curling Final: Switzerland vs. Sweden
The women’s curling tournament concludes at the Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium, with Switzerland and Sweden facing off in a highly anticipated gold medal match. - 2:15 — Men’s Four-Man Bobsled Final
At the Cortina Bobsled Track, top international crews will compete in the four-man bobsled final. - 4:10 p.m. — Men’s Ice Hockey Final: Canada vs. United States
The final match of the men’s ice hockey tournament will be contested at the Milano Santagiulia Arena. The winner will secure one of the most prestigious Olympic titles.
