Galatasaray have reportedly joined the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, according to a report published by La Gazzetta dello Sport, as the Turkish champions continue preparations for the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old English international has attracted growing interest from several European clubs, with Inter Milan also understood to be monitoring the situation closely.
Inter is reported to have submitted an offer in the region of €20 million, which was rejected by Liverpool.
Liverpool is said to value the academy graduate at over €30 million and is not expected to sanction a departure unless their valuation is met.
The report also states that the English club insists on including a sell-on clause in any potential transfer agreement.
Galatasaray has reportedly made initial contact to assess the conditions of a possible transfer.
Jones, who has struggled for consistent minutes in Liverpool’s first team, is reportedly open to evaluating his options in search of regular playing time. However, Inter Milan is currently considered to be in a stronger negotiating position, according to the report.
