Galatasaray is reportedly preparing to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison during the January transfer window, with the English Premier League club said to have lowered its asking price for the Brazilian international to €10 million ($11.7 million).
The 29-year-old forward is reportedly looking to leave Tottenham in January, while the Istanbul-based club is searching for another attacking option to support Victor Osimhen.
According to ESPN, Richarlison's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and Tottenham are willing to consider offers for the player during the winter transfer window.
Tottenham have reportedly reduced their transfer demands to €10 million, below Richarlison's estimated market value of €15 million, as they prepare to assess potential offers in January.
The Brazilian striker is reportedly keen to move on from the Premier League club before his contract expires, opening up the possibility of a midseason transfer.
Galatasaray, however, are understood to be unwilling to meet Tottenham's current asking price, given that Richarlison could become available without a transfer fee at the end of the campaign.
The Turkish Super Lig champions are reportedly looking to strengthen their attacking options after failing to get the expected contribution from Deniz Gul.
With Osimhen leading the attack, Galatasaray have identified Richarlison as a potential addition who could provide further support in the forward line.
Although the Istanbul club is reportedly considering an approach to Tottenham, the disagreement over the transfer fee could complicate negotiations ahead of the January window.
