Galatasaray is expected to use the three-week international break to get Victor Osimhen, Mario Lemina and Roland Sallai back to full fitness, giving head coach Okan Buruk a potential injury boost ahead of the club's return to league action.

The trio did not join their national-team camps because of injuries and are expected to be fully ready by the end of the break, with Galatasaray targeting their return for the Kasimpasa match on Oct. 9, according to Milliyet.

Osimhen and Lemina step up recovery

Osimhen and Lemina, who were unable to play against Trabzonspor, have not yet completely recovered, although their conditions have reportedly been improving.

Galatasaray contacted the medical teams of their respective national sides and secured permission for both players to remain with the club during the international break, a period in which domestic league competition pauses for national-team fixtures.

Both players will now go through an intensive treatment program as the club works to get them ready for the Kasimpasa game.

A similar approach was taken with Sallai after the Hungarian international picked up an injury during the Trabzonspor match. His treatment will continue at Galatasaray's Kemerburgaz facilities, with all three players reportedly keen to return to action.

National-team call-ups limit Buruk's options

While the break provides Galatasaray with additional recovery time for injured players, Buruk will have to carry out much of his preparation without 13 members of his squad who have joined their national teams.

With most of those players regularly featuring in the first team, their absence is expected to limit the coaching staff's ability to carry out full tactical training during the three-week period.
