Galatasaray's reported pursuit of Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders could depend on whether the English club brings in Lille's highly rated Moroccan prospect Ayyoub Bouaddi.

The Turkish champions have identified the Dutch international as a potential addition while stepping up their transfer preparations for the new season. However, Manchester City is reportedly not yet ready to let the 27-year-old leave.

Bouaddi deal could unlock Reijnders exit

Reijnders' future is said to be tied to Manchester City's efforts to sign Bouaddi, an 18-year-old central midfielder currently playing for French Ligue 1 club Lille.

Should the English side complete the move for the Moroccan player, Manchester City could give the green light for Reijnders to move on. Until then, Galatasaray's chances of bringing in the Netherlands international appear to remain dependent on developments between City and Lille.

Dutch midfielder delivered in first City season

Reijnders featured in 47 competitive matches during his first season with Manchester City, recording seven goals and eight assists.

He also represented the Netherlands at the FIFA World Cup held in the United States, setting up one goal across three appearances.
