Galatasaray is pursuing Inter Milan’s Benjamin Pavard and Yann Sommer as part of its summer transfer plans. The Turkish club is seeking to strengthen both right-back and goalkeeper positions, with Pavard considered for a season-long loan and Sommer for a permanent move.
The 29-year-old Pavard, under contract until 2028, offers both central defensive and wide defensive capabilities, making him a valuable option. Galatasaray turned to him as an alternative to Wilfried Singo, whose potential move from Monaco remains uncertain.
Talks with the Italian side also included discussions for goalkeeper Yann Sommer. While Galatasaray had reached a verbal agreement with Ederson, negotiations with Manchester City stalled over a €16 million (18.57 million) fee.
Sommer, who previously told the Turkish club he would join if an agreement with Inter was reached, is part of a proposed package deal alongside Pavard. Galatasaray awaits a response from the Serie A side.
Inter signed Pavard from Bayern Munich in 2023 for €31.4 million. His current market value is €25 million.
