Juventus set to extend contract, raise salary

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus plans to extend Yildiz’s contract until 2030, raising his annual salary from €1.5 million ($1.74 million) to 4 million ($4.64 million)—an increase of more than 2.5 times.

The deal is expected to be finalized once the team returns to Italy following the tournament in the United States.

Yildiz joined Juventus from Bayern Munich on a free transfer, initially earning 100,000 euros ($116,000) a year.

Over three seasons, he has emerged as one of the brightest talents in his generation, establishing himself as a key player for the Serie A club.

In the 2024-25 season, Yildiz appeared in 48 matches, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.

Observers say his rise is only beginning, and Juventus sees him as a vital part of their future plans.
