Juventus was held to a 1-1 draw by Sassuolo in Serie A after Türkiye international Kenan Yildiz put the home side ahead and finished as the key figure in a match that slipped away late on.
Playing at Allianz Stadium in Turin in Week 30 of Italy's top flight, Juventus went in front in the 14th minute through Yildiz. Sassuolo then came back into the game after the break and drew level in the 52nd minute with a goal from Andrea Pinamonti.
The result left Juventus on 54 points and in fifth place in the league standings, while Yildiz further stood out by taking his tally to 10 Serie A goals this season.
Juventus got off to a better start and moved ahead early when Yildiz found the net in the 14th minute.
Sassuolo clawed their way back after halftime and pulled level in the 52nd minute through Pinamonti, shifting the momentum of the match and forcing Juventus to chase a second goal.
The home side was then handed a major chance late on, but Manuel Locatelli failed to convert a penalty in the 87th minute, and Juventus had to settle for a draw instead of all three points.
