Galatasaray forward Mauro Icardi has reportedly been prevented from leaving Argentina following a court decision linked to an ongoing legal dispute with his former wife, Wanda Nara.

According to a report by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, a court in Argentina imposed a travel ban on the Argentine striker while he remains in the country. The development comes as uncertainty continues to surround Icardi's future at Galatasaray.

Legal dispute reportedly leads to travel restrictions

The report suggested that the court order was connected to certain financial obligations involving the couple's daughters, Francesca and Isabella.

It was also claimed that the decision followed a request submitted by lawyers representing Wanda Nara.

As a result, Icardi is said to be unable to leave Argentina until the legal matter is addressed through the judicial process.

Uncertainty continues around Galatasaray future

The reported travel restriction has emerged at a time when questions remain over whether Icardi will continue with Galatasaray.

While discussions over his future continue, attention has also shifted to the legal proceedings involving the player and his former spouse.

Neither additional details nor further information regarding the duration of the reported travel ban were included in the report.
