Under the leadership of head coach Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahce has accelerated its transfer push, setting sights on three out-of-favor stars from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Istanbul side is reportedly in advanced talks with Milan Skriniar, Nordi Mukiele, and Marco Asensio, according to Turkish daily Sabah.
Fenerbahce has reached a verbal agreement with PSG to sign Slovak defender Milan Skriniar for €10 million. The 29-year-old center-back, who played on loan last season, has been offered a yearly salary of just under €6 million. The club is now waiting for Skriniar's final response.
Fenerbahce is also pursuing French right-back Nordi Mukiele. PSG is asking for €10 million, but the Turkish club is negotiating to lower the fee. Mukiele is said to be open to a move to Türkiye, which could facilitate the deal.
The most high-profile name on the list is Marco Asensio. Fenerbahce has tabled a €10 million offer for the Spanish playmaker, but the 29-year-old is reportedly considering proposals from Premier League and La Liga clubs. Despite the delay, Fenerbahce remains hopeful of convincing Asensio to choose Istanbul.
Fenerbahce had earlier signed Colombian striker John Duran and is aiming to build a star-studded squad ahead of the upcoming Super Lig season and European qualifiers.
