Kocaelispor has reportedly set its sights on former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as the Turkish club looks to build a squad capable of challenging for a top-three finish in the Trendyol Super Lig.
According to Turkish sports daily Fotomac, Kocaelispor is closely following the situation of the 33-year-old French international and is expected to gather information on the financial terms of a potential deal before deciding whether to move forward.
The report said Kocaelispor, who are targeting a top-five finish in Türkiye's top-flight football league, want to find out what it would cost to bring in Pogba and will weigh up those figures as part of their transfer planning.
Fotomac also described Pogba as being available without a transfer fee, although the midfielder signed a two-year contract with Monaco in 2025 after completing an 18-month doping suspension.
Pogba previously played for Manchester United and Juventus before joining Monaco as he looked to get his career back on track following his suspension.
The French midfielder made only six appearances last season, with Kocaelispor now reportedly emerging as a potential destination as the Turkish side considers whether the conditions of a deal would fit their plans.
