In a dominant performance at Munich Arena, French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Italian club Inter Milan 5-0 in the Champions League final — marking the largest winning margin ever recorded in the history of the competition’s final.
Goals for PSG came from Hakimi in the 12th minute, Desire Doue in the 20th and 63rd minutes, Kvaratskhelia in the 73rd, and Mayulu in the 86th minute. This emphatic victory secured PSG’s first-ever Champions League trophy.

Desire Doue: The star of the final
The 19-year-old Desire Doue, who joined PSG from Rennes last summer for €50 million, made history as the youngest player to both score and assist in a Champions League final. This season, Doue has netted 14 goals and contributed 16 assists in 54 appearances for PSG.

Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu faces another final defeat
Turkish national team player Hakan Calhanoglu, representing Inter Milan, suffered his second loss in a Champions League final. Despite some promising chances, including a header by teammate Thuram, Inter could not break down PSG’s dominant defense.
