Houston Rockets overcome Memphis Grizzlies with Sengun’s 33 point performance

The Houston Rockets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 108-99 at home, thanks to a brilliant performance by Turkish star Alperen Sengun. Memphis, sitting 11th in the Western Conference and missing six key players, including Ja Morant, put up a tough fight for three quarters before Houston pulled away.

Sengun's masterclass

Turkish national team star, had a standout performance in the Rockets’ 108–99 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. He scored 33 points on 15-of-17 shooting, along with nine rebounds and six assists, showcasing his efficiency and impact on both ends of the floor.

Kevin Durant also starred with 33 points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Tari Eason added 17 points and 7 rebounds. Amen Thompson contributed eight points, eight rebounds and 14 assists, helping Houston seal the win.

For Memphis, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama led the scoring with 17 points each.

The Rockets improved to 28–16 on the season and will next host the San Antonio Spurs, while Memphis faces the Charlotte Hornets in their upcoming matchup.
