The Houston Rockets are reportedly open to including Turkish international and NBA All-Star Alperen Sengun—nicknamed the “Turkish Terminator” by Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal—in a potential trade for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to NBC Sports' Kurt Helin.

Sengun played a key role in Houston’s strong 2024–25 season, helping the team secure the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference with a 52–30 record. He averaged 19.1 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game across 76 starts, earning his first All-Star selection.

Although the Rockets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors in seven games, Sengun led the team with 20.9 points and 11.9 rebounds per game in the series. However, he struggled in Game 7, shooting just 9-of-23 from the field.

Despite Sengun’s emergence as a franchise cornerstone, the Rockets are reportedly considering including him in a trade package for Antetokounmpo, who remains one of the NBA’s most dominant players. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Greek forward is “open-minded” about a possible move from Milwaukee for the first time in his career.

The Bucks may prefer a deal built around guard Jalen Green, while forward Jabari Smith Jr. is also expected to be part of any trade discussions.

Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points and 11.9 rebounds this season, shooting over 60% from the field for the second consecutive year.
