Boston controlled the contest throughout and secured a 21-point victory behind Derrick White, who led the Celtics with 28 points and eight assists. Payton Pritchard provided a major boost off the bench with 27 points, while Luka Garza added 19. Baylor Scheierman finished with 15 points, and Neemias Queta delivered a dominant interior performance with 10 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks.

In another key matchup, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder 116-106, marking their fourth win over the Thunder this season.
Keldon Johnson scored 25 points for San Antonio, while Victor Wembanyama posted 22 points and 14 rebounds. De'Aaron Fox contributed 15 points and 10 assists. For Oklahoma City, Kenrich Williams scored 25 points, and Jaylin Williams had 24 points and 12 rebounds. Reigning MVP and All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed the game with an abdominal strain.
