Alperen Sengun delivered one of his finest performances of the season on Tuesday, recording a triple-double as the Houston Rockets lost to the Chicago Bulls 132-124 at United Center in Chicago.
Playing approximately 38 minutes, Sengun finished with 33 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks — marking his 4th triple-double of the season. Despite the Türkiye-born center's dominant display, the Rockets were unable to secure a road win.
Kevin Durant contributed 40 points for Houston, while Amen Thompson added 23. The Rockets, who suffered their 28th loss of the season, struggled to contain a balanced Bulls offense, with seven players reaching double figures.
Collin Sexton led Chicago with 25 points, while Matas Buzelis chipped in 23. The Bulls, who had gone two games without a win, claimed their 29th victory of the season with the home triumph.
Elsewhere in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued their dominant run, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 123-103 to extend their winning streak to 12 games and improve to 57 wins on the season.
Adem Bona, another center from Türkiye, started for the 76ers and played approximately 26 minutes, finishing with 3 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 22 points, with Jalen Williams and Jaylin Williams each adding 18. VJ Edgecombe topped the 76ers with 35 points in a losing effort as Philadelphia suffered its 33rd defeat of the season.
