Jannik Sinner claimed his second consecutive Wimbledon men's singles title after coming back from a set down to beat Alexander Zverev 3-1 in the final in London.
The Italian world No. 1 faced Germany's world No. 3 in the championship match of Wimbledon, one of tennis' four Grand Slam tournaments, the sport's most prestigious events.
Zverev took the first set 7-6, but Sinner held on in another tight second set and levelled the match with a 7-6 win. From there, the Italian player pushed ahead, taking the next two sets 6-3 and 6-4.
The final lasted 3 hours and 46 minutes, with Sinner closing out the match to secure back-to-back Wimbledon titles.
With his latest victory, Sinner added another major title to his record. He had previously won the Australian Open twice and the U.S. Open once.
The Wimbledon triumph brought his Grand Slam total to five, strengthening his position at the top of men's tennis.
