Fenerbahce’s Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri has caught the attention of major Spanish clubs following a standout season in Istanbul. Reports indicate that both Villarreal and Real Betis are interested in signing the 27-year-old striker.
En-Nesyri joined Fenerbahce from Sevilla at the start of the season in a high-profile €20 million ($22.75 million) transfer. Since then, his goal-scoring performances have made a significant impact, drawing interest not only from Spain but previously from Premier League sides and Saudi club Al Nassr.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, both Villarreal and Real Betis are preparing to contact Fenerbahce at the end of the season to inquire about En-Nesyri’s availability and the conditions of a potential deal.
Fenerbahce is reportedly aiming for a record fee in return for the Moroccan striker. Although En-Nesyri's current market value is around €24 million, the club is said to be seeking between €35 million and €40 million.
So far this season, En-Nesyri has played in 50 matches across all competitions, scoring 28 goals and providing 7 assists—making him the team’s top scorer.
Given his proven experience in La Liga and his current form, En-Nesyri could be on the move this summer. However, Fenerbahce’s valuation may prove to be a hurdle for potential suitors.
As the transfer window approaches, his future will remain one of the key storylines in both Türkiye and Europe.
