Turkish football club Trabzonspor shared a video on Wednesday showing Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah wearing its claret-and-blue jersey aboard an aircraft as negotiations over his transfer continued.
The footage was released while Salah was traveling from the Greek island of Mykonos to Istanbul, marking the first time he had appeared in Trabzonspor's colors.
Wearing the club's jersey, Salah directly addressed supporters in the video and signaled that his arrival was drawing closer.
"Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you. See you very soon. Everywhere is Trabzon for us," Salah said.
Salah has now left the airport in Istanbul, where he was welcomed by a crowd of Trabzonspor supporters and media representatives.
Wearing the club's claret-and-blue jersey, the Egyptian forward waved to those gathered outside before his expected journey to Trabzon later in the day.
