Trabzonspor has reportedly sent Mohamed Salah a detailed two-year contract after reaching an agreement in principle with the Egyptian star, leaving the club waiting for his final approval and handwritten signature.

According to Fanatik, the proposed deal would pay the 34-year-old forward €17 million per season for two years, alongside additional performance-related bonuses.

Sponsors lined up to cover most of the deal

A large part of Salah's financial package is expected to be covered through sponsorship agreements, with Trabzonspor reportedly holding talks with several companies and setting aside the necessary funding.

The club is also said to have accepted Salah's request for a share of shirt-sale revenue, although the percentage would not exceed 20% to 25%.

The contract reportedly includes several detailed commercial provisions, including clauses covering the player's social media activity.

Trabzonspor waits for the final signature

The completed agreement has been sent to Salah's agent, and Trabzonspor is now waiting for a handwritten signature before moving ahead with the transfer.

Club President Ertugrul Dogan has remained cautious and avoided publicly discussing the negotiations while the final document remains unsigned. Salah's representative, who also acts as his lawyer, has reportedly told close associates: "We have agreed."

Arrival plans remain ready

Salah is currently on holiday in Greece, while Trabzonspor has prepared an operation to bring him to Istanbul as soon as the contract is signed.

The club initially planned for the player to arrive on Aug. 4, although further developments could push his journey back to Aug. 6 or Aug. 7.

The reported negotiations have also drawn attention from British and Arab media, while Trabzonspor views the potential signing as a move that could contribute to the city's international promotion and tourism.
